Helm Console

Immediately to the right of the Navigation Station is the Helm Console which is manned at all times except when the ship is in drydock or in a cold iron" status.

The layout of this console is nearly identical to that of the Navigation Console, except that there are two VSU screens, one on the top left side and another on the top right side of the console face. In the center of the console is Tactical Plot, a holographic screen which depicts all objects within 20 lightyears of the ship. Courses, speeds, or orbits (as appropriate) are displayed alongside each identification marker. Longer-range views or close-up detail can be selected as desired.
