The following pictures are of the guitar before starting the restoration. The general condition of the guitar is ok considering I played the hell out of this guitar for the better part of 8 years. The frets are pretty pitted, there is 1 missing bridge saddle and the finish has some dings, chips and rub through.

If you look on the front of the guitar near the bottom edge, you will see a pretty deep gouge. I had picked up this guitar back in 1990 the afternoon before a gig. I played it live for the first time that night. I was walking behind the vocalist when she flung her wireless mic behind her right into the front of the guitar. Nothing like getting a major battle wound the first night out!!! Needless to say, I was pretty upset.

I have already ordered a replacement bridge saddle and a fret refinishing kit. I am also looking at a replacement neck on eBay that looks in really good condition. I will be stripping the hardware and refinishing the body. I will keep this page updated as I progress.
